About

Belgian artist, animator, and founder of the Crocoverse. I draw characters and places, build the worlds they live in, and animate them frame by frame.

The practice ranges from minimal loops to highly detailed illustration, and drifts often into experimental, collaborative projects. Animation, in every form, has been a lifelong passion.

How I work

My practice is erratic by nature, I like to try new things, techniques, styles and workflows. Central to the process however is my love for animating frame by frame, by hand. Rather than looking for polish, I'm after a specific kind of roughness in style that adds character and makes a production true and authentic. I'm also very fond of physical production techniques and printing, and I love to produce my physicals in-house as much as I can.

As a founder, I care just as much about the collector experience as the drawing itself, in the digital realm and the physical one. A lot of the work is translation: taking imagery off the screen and into finely crafted objects and experiences, using technology to give it a richer life beyond the digital surface.

The Crocoverse

Alongside the studio work, I run the Crocoverse and a handful of other creative blockchain projects — long-running spaces for world-building, collaboration, and collecting, built on Solana.

I also take on commissions for editorial illustration, character design, animated loops and title sequences, and longer collaborative series. If you have something in mind, tell me about it.
