The canonical project description of the Utility collection reads as follows:
Utility is a collection of useless gifs revolving around a non-existing narrative fueled by irrelevant actors.
This collection of gifs on the Solana blockchain originated as a meme project. Frustrated with the fear, uncertainty, and doubt surrounding the space, as well as my own perfectionism and self-doubt, I spontaneously started this series of short, absurd animations. I consciously released all expectations of profit, and no promises were made. Much to my surprise, the first batch of animations vanished within minutes.
Following this initial success, I decided to introduce auctions and they did quite well. Currently, the collection consists of 33 minted and sold items, with a total of 49 pieces planned. Along the road there are artist collabs, airdrops and other surprises.
This collection holds a special place in my heart, serving as a reminder to myself: "Let go, embrace the act of creation, and trust in the process." It acts as a creative outlet where I can play, make jokes, and simultaneously offer social commentary. Additionally, it serves as a documentation of specific events that hold relevance within this space.
